Having weathered the vagaries of Delhi’s chilling cold, farmers are now facing the tough sun during the day. So, on Thursday, to fight the tough sun, the farmers erected a tent ahead of the most stage at the Ghazipur border. One of the farm leaders told IANS, “Actually many media reports claimed that farmers had deserted the protest site. But the facts are otherwise. due to the tough sun, the activists were retreating into the shade. Apart from a tent, the farmers at the border also are equipping themselves with coolers and fans within the tents in order that those participating within the agitation aren’t inconvenienced.
